Upcoming events at The Lake:
This Sunday is week 3 of our current teaching series, “Recalculating.” We’ve discussed how people will often make plans for their future without even considering God’s will for their future; doing what they want to do without including God’s will in their decision making. Last week, we discussed what we should do if God were to place a divine roadblock in our path as we prepare to continue doing what we feel He wants us to do. But, what do we do when the reason for a change in plans is all the result of our own actions; that we are the cause for our plans changing? We learn a lot from Peter, one of Jesus’ disciples; one of the more outspoken disciples, as we answer this question. Join us this Sunday at 9:30 and 11:00am at Lake Community Church and at Lake Live Online for week 3 of “Recalculating.”
Lake Students is still offering gatherings during the week with Devotionals with Eric, Q&A events, and regular Wednesday evening gatherings via ZOOM for all Middle School and High School Students. Find out all about their weekly schedule of meetings on their website, thelakestudents.com, or contact Eric Doane at email@example.com.
